The Toronto Arenas were a professional Hockey team and the first NHL franchise for the Capital City of Ontario. The team existed for 2 seasons in the NHL before being sold and re-named the Toronto St. Pats for the start of the 1920 season. Their home rink was the Mutual Street Arena. They won their only Stanley Cup in 1918, the first year of the newly formed National Hockey League.
