Tim Rattay (born March 15, 1977 in Elyria, Ohio) is an American football player who currently plays quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. On October 18th, 2005 he was traded from the San Francisco 49ers to the Buccaneers for a reported sixth-round 2006 draft pick. He attended college at Louisiana Tech University.

High School career


Rattay attended Phoenix Christian High School in Phoenix, Arizona, and Rattay set state single season records for passing yards, completions, and touchdowns. Besides also playing defensive back, he also lettered in basketball.
