The Masterson Inheritance was an improvisational comedy series broadcast on BBC Radio 4 from 1993 to 1995. There were three series and two Christmas specials. BBC 7 are currently rebroadcasting this show, it can be heard online at their website.

The regular cast of The Masterson Inheritance were Josie Lawrence, Paul Merton, Phelim McDermott, Caroline Quentin, Lee Simpson and Jim Sweeney. Each week, the cast would be given a situation to improvise for the fictional Masterson family with suggestions from the studio audience.
