The Man in Black may refer to:

• Johnny Cash, the American country and western singer, who regularly performed dressed all in black.
• The title of the song Johnny Cash wrote and recorded in 1971, explaining that he wears black to remind the audience of the disadvantaged members of American society, and of people sent off to die in wars (specifically, at the time, the Vietnam War).
• Dale Earnhardt, an American race car driver, who throughout the late 1980s and 1990s drove a black #3 Chevrolet sponsored by GM Goodwrench.
