The Foetus of Excellence is a box – not to be confused with a box set – from The Foetus of Excellence. It was released in a limited edition of 836 pieces (exactly enough to recoup production costs) by Self Immolation/Some Bizzare in 1985. The Foetus of Excellence is Self Immolation #FOE 1.

The Foetus of Excellence box was designed to house all prior Foetus vinyl releases from Some Bizarre, and came with a t-shirt. It holds the distinction of being the only release to appear on the British Pop Charts without containing any recorded music.
