Tetris for the original Game Boy is a game by Bullet Proof Software. This is the first Tetris game to receive enormous popularity. It is based on Alexey Pajitnov's Tetris. The game was bundled with the Game Boy console, which has been widely viewed as a brilliant move, for it greatly increased sales of the handheld. This game is the best-selling 3rd party game for Game Boy, if not the bestselling game for the original Game Boy ever.

A sequel occurred on the Game Boy Color entitled Tetris DX.
