For Ted Parsons in Memphis, TN, see T-Par:

Drummer Ted Parsons has served as the backbone for some of New York City's, and the world's, foremost industrial and industrial metal bands for more than two decades.

Parsons' early career began in 1985 with Swans, when he contributed to their Holy Money album. He left Swans in 1987 and joined guitarist Tommy Victor's fledgling Prong. Prong would be his main project until the group disbanded in 1996. He then started a long-standing friendship with Justin Broadrick, playing on Godflesh's 1996 tour and their album, Hymns. Parsons has also played in Of Cabbages and Kings with former Swans bandmate Algis Kizys and was a one-time member of Foetus' touring band.

Parsons is currently a member of Broadrick's Jesu project, and has his own dub group, Teledubgnosis.
