Talmadge Garvin Blevins (born 1972) is the editorial lead on IGN.com's games network, overseeing all content creation and publishing of the IGN console, handheld, and PC game sites. After graduating with a masters in geography from the University of Georgia, Tal joined IGN.com in October 1998 as an associate editor on the PC channel, and later headed up the PC channel as editor-in-chief before becoming editorial director of IGN.com in 2004.

Talmadge, known as simply Tal to most, is a founding member of IGN Entertainment, and has worked in the computer entertainment industry for more than a dozen years. Tal has had articles published in Next Generation magazine, Games Business magazine, and TV Guide, among other publications, and was a presenter at the 8th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards.

He has also appeared as an expert in the field of videogames on several national and international television and radio networks, including G4TV, the BBC and National Public Radio, as well as worked as a script writer, producer, and on-air commentator for the syndicated television show Gamer Nation.

He currently resides in San Francisco, California.
