The TV IV is a website devoted to informational guides for television shows and the people involved in their production. As it is a wiki, it is entirely dependent on user contributions. The TV IV runs the MediaWiki software, but has disabled anonymous editing and has licensed the content under the Creative Commons license (cc-by-2.5). It was started by members of the Something Awful Forums, who were unhappy with what TV Tome turned into after its acquisition by CNET. ^* It is one of the List of largest wikis on the web.
