Sybil Lynch (usually known as Sybil) is a female singer from New Jersey, America. Since 1986, she has released many singles, however it was when she signed with the music UK songwriters/producers Stock Aitken Waterman, that she had the biggest success, and was particularly popular in the UK. Her most well known single is probably When I'm Good And Ready which she released in 1993 the same year her US album 'Doin' It Now' was released for Next Plateau - PolyGram Records. Some have said that this excellent album was truly overlooked by the R&B community. Musical gems like the song 'Back Together Again' ( on both 'Doin' It Now' and the UK album version 'When I'm Good And Ready') written by seminal NYC R&B songwriter/bandleader Philip Nadelman should certainly have made it to a larger listening audience. Most of her hits have been covers of standards, and her career gradually evolved from dance towards soul/pop. Her last single to date, was released in 1997.
In 2005, she appeared in the ITV singing contest, Hit Me Baby One More Time.
Sybil has recently been working in Miami and is about to release a new track called "Don't Give Up" with Code Red Recordings.
¹ In the US, The Love I Lost / You're the Love of My Life was released as a double-A side single
