Suppiluliuma II was the last known king of the Hittite empire (New kingdom) 1218 BC – c.1200 BC. He is known from inscriptions in Hieroglyphic Luwian, which actually pronounce his name "Suppiluliama". They record wars against former vassal Tarhuntassa, and against Alasiya in Cyprus.
