Sunan Abi Da'ud is one of the Sunni Six Major Hadith collections , collected by Abu Da'ud.
Collection
Abu Da'ud declared some of Hadiths in his book to be unauthentic, which makes his book different than Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. The author collected 50,000 Hadeeth, but included only 4,800 in this colletion.
Sunni regard this collection as third in strength of their Six major Hadith collections *. Shi'a vaule each hadith in it individualy.
