Star Wars Insider is the official Star Wars magazine. It contains stories, articles about things from the Star Wars universe, letters, Bantha Tracks which is the fan newsletter, and more. It began in 1987 as the official magazine of The Lucasfilm Fan Club. The magazine changed its name to the Star Wars Insider starting with issue #23 in 1994, when The Lucasfilm Fan Club reverted back to the Official Star Wars Fan Club. The Star Wars Insider is still going strong. As of June 2006 there have been 88 issues.
