The center offers an outpatient infectious disease clinic, intervention, pediatric and immigrant care, health education, testing and screening and the unique Airbridge Project to Puerto Rico, which coordinates care for HIV-positive patients who make frequent trips to the island territory. Additional services include Level I Trauma Center and full emergency services.

The hospital is also affiliated as the academic center for New York Medical College.
