Soranus was a Sabine god later adopted by the Roman Empire. He was worshipped on Mt. Soracte.

The worshippers of Apollo Soranus, after his cult had been subsumed by Apollo were called Hirpi Soranu ("wolves of Soranus"). They were firewalkers.

Soranus was also the name of a Greek gynecologist of the 2nd century C.E.
