A soccer kick (also called a football kick) is a reference to a kick that is similar to kicks used in soccer or football. Apart from ball sports, soccer kicks are used as an offensive technique in combat sports, martial arts and violence. They are typically employed from a stand-up position, either to the head, body or legs of the opponent. The foot is propelled in a way similarly to kicking a ball, usually with the area of impact being the shin, the top of the foot, or the front of the foot if the kicker is wearing shoes or especially combat boots.
