Shridhar Chillal holds the world record for the longest fingernails on a single hand, measuring 6.15 meters (20 feet 2.25 inches). Chillal's longest nail is 4.25 feet. He has now had enough, and is looking to auction off his specimens, which have caused him pain and agony for most of his life. His world record is a public icon globally and in the Guinness World Records. He is asking for at least 200,000 dollars, half of which has been offered so far.

Health effects

The weight of the nails and the lack of movement of his hand has caused problems in his shoulder and nerves, which subsequently caused his left ear to go deaf. Secondary problems include lack of a good night's sleep due to constant vigilance.
