Sheung Shui (上水, Jyutping: Soeng6 Seoi2, Pinyin: Shàngshuǐ) is the second last railway station on the KCR East Rail in Hong Kong. Trains continue to Lo Wu Station, the checkpoint with mainland China, but some terminate at this station and go back to East Tsim Sha Tsui, the southern terminus. Passengers wishing to not run afoul of Hong Kong law by entering the Boundary Area illegally by proceeding to Lo Wu without a Boundary Area Entry Permit or with the intention of crossing over to Shenzhen are advised to de-train here.
This station is located in the North District, New Territories, Hong Kong, serving the Sheung Shui area and its vicinity.
Both platforms are sided.
