Sherwood are a San Luis Obispo, California-based indie band. They released an independent self-titled EP in 2004 before securing a deal with SideCho Records in late 2004. They recorded "Sing, But Keep Going" in January 2005 at Sonikwire Studios in Irvine, California. Produced by Michael Rosas, it was released on 31 May 2005 (see 2005 in music). They released a five-song EP titled "Summer EP" on May 8, 2006.

They also have a side project called I'll Beat You Up.

Because the band's contract with Side Cho was only a one-record deal, they are currently free agents and many noteworthy record labels have been taking interest.
