Sha Tin (沙田, Jyutping: sa1 tin4, Pinyin: Shātián) is a station in Sha Tin on Hong Kong's KCR East Rail.
The station was built with Citylink Plaza. It has a bus terminal.
Platforms
- Platform 1 & 2: East Rail to Lo Wu
- Platform 3 & 4: East Rail to East Tsim Sha Tsui
There are two island platforms for platforms 1 and 2, and platforms 3 and 4 respectively.
Trains normally stop at platforms 2 and 3. Platforms 1 and 4 are used in the following occasions:
- Special departures during peak hours (platform 4 for southbound) and race days (platform 1 for northbound).
- Serve as buffers when the EMU frequency is high during peak hours.
- Serve as buffers so that non-stop through EMUs could overtake local EMUs.
