Seth Gesshel Green (born February 8, 1974) is an American actor and television producer.

Green was born to Jewish parents Herb Green and Barbara Gesshel in Overbrook Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a child he was an avid collector of action figures, especially from GI Joe. He would often re-assemble and re-paint them, creating his own new characters. He is 5'4" (163 cm) tall.

Film

Green's first role was in the 1984 film, A Billion for Boris. However, his appearance in the 1988 motion picture My Stepmother is an Alien (which featured his future Buffy costar Alyson Hannigan) is perhaps more widely recalled.

Green appeared in the miniseries It, all three Austin Powers movies (as Dr Evil's son Scott), and Enemy of the State as a computer specialist (in an uncredited role). He continued to use his nerdy appearance to achieve another role as a computer geek in the film The Italian Job. He was also in the movie Rat Race.

Television

Green's first television appearances were in Tales from the Darkside and Amazing Stories in the mid-1980s. However, Green's fame and prominence rose when he began appearing as Daniel "Oz" Osbourne the werewolf in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer during Seasons 2–4.

He had a starring role in the short-lived television series Greg the Bunny. He voices the character of Chris Griffin (among others) on the animated series Family Guy. Green also guest starred on the comedy That '70s Show as the character Mitch Miller. He appeared in the teenage sitcom Tucker, playing himself in the part of McKenna's boyfriend, and in the second episode of The X-Files as a secondary character. He also appeared in the sitcom Will & Grace as Randall Finn.

He starred in the short-lived NBC sitcom Four Kings, which debuted January 5, 2006.

Other work and interests

In 2005, Green co-created Robot Chicken with Matthew Senreich for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. Featuring stop-motion animation, Robot Chicken was renewed for a second season, airing in the spring of 2006.

Green co-created the comic book title Freshmen with Hugh Sterbakov. Green has also written for the magazine Toyfare and is a noted fan and collector of M.A.S.K. toys.

Since childhood, he has been a collector of action figures. His collection includes a number of action figures based on his characters of Oz (Buffy), Scott Evil (Austin Powers) and Chris Griffin (Family Guy).
