Sean Patrick Flanery (b. October 11, 1965 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, USA) is an Irish-American actor.

Sean was raised in Houston, Texas, and after attending Awty International School, and graduating from Dulles High School, he attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston.

Flanery later moved to Los Angeles, California in order to pursue his acting career. Since 1988 Sean has appeared in over 53 films including Boondock Saints, Powder, Simply Irresistible and D-Tox.

He started acting because, when he was in college, he joined an acting class to meet a girl that he had a crush on.

He has a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
