Sean Morley, better known as Val Venis or The Big Valbowski (born on March 6, 1971 in Ontario) is a Canadian professional wrestler currently performing for World Wrestling Entertainment on the RAW brand.

Morley debuted in the then-World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) as a face in 1998 and has enjoyed moderate success since then. He is also a self described libertarian, and the former brother-in-law of fellow WWE superstar Edge.

Val Venis, Morley's wrestling persona, was created out of Sean Morley's sense of humor. He was presented on screen as a well-endowed porn star.

Career

After debuting in 1998, Val Venis became the focus of an angle (storyline) which involved him having an affair with Mrs. Yamaguchi-San and nearly being castrated by Japanese stable Kaientai (Taka Michinoku, Funaki, Dick Togo, Men's Teioh, and Wally Yamaguchi). Other storylines saw Venis reported that he was saved by "a little shrinkage" and help from his friend, John Wayne Bobbitt, who he then introduced before later stealing away Goldust's valet Terri Runnels, and forming an alliance with The Godfather.

In 1999, Venis had more female trouble storylines, feuding with then-Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock after Venis made a film starring him and Shamrock's sister Ryan called "Shaving Ryan's Privates". During the feud he won the Intercontinental title at WWF St. Valentine's Day Massacre with the help of Special Guest Referee Billy Gunn. A few days later, he dumped Ryan and eventually lost the Intercontinental title to Road Dogg. Throughout the rest of the year he had female troubles with Nicole Bass, Chyna and Debra. He also had short feuds with Mankind, The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. In December Morley defeated British Bulldog and D'Lo Brown to win the WWF European Championship in a Triple Threat Match.

During the beginning of 2000, Morley lost the European Championship to Kurt Angle. A few months later, Morley turned heel by aligning himself with Trish Stratus. With Stratus as his manager he defeated Rikishi to win the Intercontinental Championship for a second time and he was aligned with Test and Albert (and manager Trish Stratus). Stratus would inadvertently lose Venis' Intercontinental title to Chyna in a mixed tag match involving Venis, Stratus, Chyna and her partner Eddie Guerrero.

Shortly after this, Venis would undergo a complete change losing his long hair and porn star gimmick to become a member of the Right to Censor stable. Venis would join RTC after being abducted by Bull Buchanan and The Goodfather (Venis' former partner "The Godfather"). He became a censorship-based character, directly contrasting with his previously provocative on-screen character. He feuded with Chyna and "The One" Billy Gunn during his time in the Right To Censor and stayed with them till they disbanded right before the Invasion storyline. After they disbanded Venis disappeared from the WWF.

At the 2002 Royal Rumble, Venis would return to wrestle on WWE RAW, having two very short feuds with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mr. Perfect before he was drafted by SmackDown! during the brand extension. On SmackDown! he aligned himself with the likes of Edge and Randy Orton and feuded with Chris Jericho, Deacon Batista, Ron Simmons and Reverend D-Von. During mid-2002 he began to call himself the Big Valbowski and started a tag team with Chuck Palumbo. Sean Morley was sidelined after an injury caused by gym equipment falling on him at a gym in Australia but soon returned to join with the RAW brand.

Upon being drafted back to RAW, Sean Morley (as he was now called) was appointed "Chief of Staff" by RAW's General Manager, Eric Bischoff, turning heel once again whilst acting as Bischoff's assistant.

Morley became one half of the World Tag Team Champions with Lance Storm after Storm's partner William Regal was sidelined with an illness. Storm and Morley successfully defended the World Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania XIX on March 30th, 2003 against Rob Van Dam and Kane with help from The Dudley Boyz only to lose them to Kane and RVD the next night.

Morley would be fired from his assistant job by Bischoff, only to be quickly rehired by then co-G.M., "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Morley would become a face again back under the name Val Venis but would not get much in the way of a push.

Venis reformed his previous tag team with Lance Storm as faces but this partnership would soon fade and Venis became utilized mainly as a jobber to the stars. Venis would go on to team up with the "the 500 pound love machine", Viscera as V-Squared back on RAW. While wrestling on HEAT, they squashed a number of other tag teams. A few weeks later, they defeated World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch via disqualification on the brand's top show, RAW. Two weeks later, the team once again beat the champions by pinfall on HEAT. On RAW, V-Squared would once again get a shot at the titles in a fatal-four way along with The Heart Throbs and the team of Gene Snitsky and Tyson Tomko, only to be squashed by champions Kane and The Big Show.

In January 2006, both Val Venis and Viscera would be involved in separate comedy bits with Shelton Benjamin's storyline Momma. After recognizing Venis' face, Momma asked who he was. After saying that he was in several porn films, including "Shaving Ryan's Privates", "Glad He Ate Her" and "Hairy Twatter," Shelton's momma told him that he was "going to hell tonight." A match then took place between Shelton and Val, which Shelton won with interference from Momma.

Venis hosted a poll on WWE.com called the "Love Stinks Poll" where people got the chance to vote for the best love moment in WWE history, on February 14th a video was released on WWE.com called "The Val Venis Love Stinks St. Valentines Day Sucktacular," which featured the results from that poll.

On February 10th Val Venis & his partner Viscera wrestled in an elimination three-way tag match on HEAT along with the tag teams of The Heart Throbs, and Tyson Tomko & Gene Snitsky, with the winners of the match earning at a shot at the World Tag Team Championships. V-Squared would win this match with Viscera pinning Gene Snitsky for the final fall. However, V-Squared would fall short of the titles, losing the match to Big Show and Kane on the February 27 edition of RAW.

During March 2006, Val Venis would suffer a kayfabe injury at the hands of the Spirit Squad, which allowed Morley time of for legitimate elbow surgery. In June of that year, Venis would make his return to the RAW brand and renewed his partnership with Viscera.
