Scott Adams (born July 10, 1952) is the co-founder, with wife Alexis, of Adventure International, an early publisher of games for personal computers.
Scott was the first known person to put an adventure-style game on a personal computer, in 1978 (on a 16K Radio Shack TRS-80 Model I. - at the time written in the BASIC programming language). These early text adventure games use a minimal parser, recognizing 2-word commands of the form VERB NOUN.
