Schwansen (Danish: Svans or Svansø) is a peninsula in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, protruding into the Baltic Sea. It is located between the Eckernförder Bucht ("bay of Eckernförde") in the south and the Schlei inlet in the north.

Schwansen is also the name of the Amt ("collective municipality") Schwansen, which covers most of the peninsula. It consists of the following municipalities (population in 2005 between brackets):

  • Holzdorf (942)
  • Karby (564)
  • Thumby (515)
  • Waabs (1.455)
  • Winnemark (504)

The seat of the Amt is in Damp.
