Satellite is the fourth, full length, studio album by P.O.D., released on September 11, 2001 (see 2001 in music). The album debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200 chart with over 133,000 copies sold and went on to sell over 3 million copies in the U.S. making it the band's top-selling album.
Note: "Portrait" was originally titled "Christ." Included on some releases outside of the United States was the song "Whatever It Takes." Other releases contained the song "Rock the Party Remix." A limited edtion re-release of this album was put out a year later, and it included the tracks "Alive (Semi-Acoustic)," "Youth of the Nation One Remix," and "Boom Method Remix."
