The Samara () is a river in Ukraine, left tributary of the river Dnieper. The city of Dnipropetrovsk is located near the confluence of Dnieper and Samara. It has a length of 320 km and a drainage basin of 22,600 km². The water quantities are variable, mainly because the river is fed by the spring thaw. The width of the river changes between 40 and 60 meters, with 300 m being the maximum.

The most important tributaries of the Samara River are the Vovotscha and the Byk. The larges cities on the river are Zaporizhzhia, Ternivka, and Novomoskovsk.
