Sam Oscar Lantinga is the creator of the Simple DirectMedia Layer which is a very popular open source game programming library. He is also a video game programmer, he was one of the programmers for Loki Software which closed their doors several years ago. Currently, he is a programmer at Blizzard Entertainment.
