Sai Ying Pun (Traditional Chinese: 西營盤; Cantonese , Jyutping: sai1 jing4 pun4; Mandarin Pinyin: Xīyíngpán) is an area in the western part of Central and Western District, on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong.
The Chinese Sai (西) means "west" and Ying Pun (營盤) means "camp", especially military camp. It was where early British military stayed.
