Roy Redgrave was born as George Ellsworthy Redgrave in 1871 in England. He was a successful silent film actor and the head of the large Redgrave acting dynasty along with his second wife the actress Daisy Scudamore (1885-1958). He lived much of his life in Australia and died in Sydney on May 25, 1922, aged fifty.
