Ronchi, or crackles, are the gurgling noises heard on auscultation of the lungs with a stethescope during inhalation or exhalation. Ronchi can be heard in patients with COPD, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder, Acute Bronchitis, and Severe Bronchitis.
