Robert Ben Garant (born 14 September, 1970) is an American actor, comedian, producer, and writer. He was born in Cookeville, Tennessee and grew up in Farragut, Tennessee. He has lived in New York City and currently lives with his wife Jennifer in Glendale, California. He is the co-creator of and writer for the television series Reno 911! in which he also plays the role of Deputy Travis Junior. He spent the early part of his career working with the comedy troupe The State and appeared in their television show on MTV. He created and wrote for Viva Variety, a parody of variety shows that aired on Comedy Central for two seasons.
