Renesas Technology (ルネサス テクノロジ) is a Japanese semiconductor manufacturer.

Established April 1, 2003 as a joint venture of Hitachi, Ltd. (55%) and Mitsubishi Electric Corp. (45%). Renesas is based in Tokyo, Japan and has manufacturing, design and sales operations in around 20 countries with about 26,000 employees worldwide. Renesas operations comprise of development, design, manufacture, sales and servicing of semiconductor components, such as

  • microcomputers/microcontrollers (incl. smartcards)
  • ASICs
  • logic ICs
  • analog ICs
• discrete devices (diodes, power MOSFETs, thyristors and triacs, transistors)
