Rashid Ramzi (Arabic: رشيد رمزي) (born July 17, 1980) is an athlete competing internationally for Bahrain in the 800 and 1500 metres. In the past he has competed for Morocco where he came from. Rashid Ramzi is the first athlete in history to win gold medals in the 800 m and 1500 m in the same World Championship.

Achievements


Ramzi's personal bests include a 1:44.24 800 m (2005) and a 3:30 1500 m (1500). He is amongst the favorites to win the Pre-Classic mile (May 28th, 2006).
