The Ranger magazine for British children was a popular Fleetway publication until it was incorporated in Look and Learn in June 1966.

It ran for 40 un-numbered editions commencing on 18 September 1965. Apart from educational articles. It included comic strips, the best being Tales of the Trigan Empire and Space Cadet.

  • Rob Riley (a school story set in Westhaven-on-Sea)
  • Dan Dakota (a western cartoon)
  • Beric - the French Asterix cartoon with supposedly British characters. Obelix was renamed "Son of Boadicea".
