RED Distribution is a Sony BMG-owned independent record distributor that handles releases for some 42 record labels. The leading indie (?) distributor in the US, RED distributes for labels including Fat Wreck Chords, Trustkill Records, and Victory Records, its top-selling label. Recent successful RED acts include the bands Los Lonely Boys and Switchfoot, who were later promoted to Sony BMG's major labels.
RED Distribution was founded in 1979 as a heavy metal music distributor.
