The Queensland Cyclones are the state's representative broomball squad.

It is primarily used when one team enters the annual Australian National Broomball Championships representing all localities in Queensland. Players are usually drawn from Townsville (the North Queensland Broomball Association), Cairns or Gold Coast.

The Cyclones have a good history in the competition, considering that many of their players come from the small ice surface in Townsville (approximately 30 metres x 15 metres compared to standard 60 metres x 30 metres). In 2005 the Cyclones finished runners-up in the Men's Elite, Women's Elite and Mixed Elite categories of the National Championships, losing to ACT (5-4 in overtime), New South Wales (1-0) and New South Wales (1-0) respectively.
