Pure is Godflesh's second official album, and one of the band's most popular and influential releases despite changing to a "softer" sound as oppossed to Streetcleaner and losing many of their more metal fans. It was released in 1992 on Earache Records. A music video was produced for the single "Mothra".

Tracks 9 and 10 did not appear on the cassette version of the album.
