The Primus, styled The Most Revd the Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, is the presiding bishop of the Scottish Episcopal Church. The current Primus is the Most Revd Idris Jones who became Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church on 18 May 2006. He was elected by the drawing of lots, the result of the election process having been tied.
