Ponderosa High School is one of two high schools in Parker, Colorado and is part of the Douglas County School District RE-1. Founded in 1983, the school has been around for 23 years. The school is very respected, earning an "excellent" score on the Colorado Student Assessment Program in 2004, and a "high" score in 2005. The new principal is Mr. Chuck Puga.

Ponderosa's mascot is the Mustang, and its school colors are cardinal and gold.
