The Land camera was the first "instant camera". It was invented by Edwin Land, founder of Polaroid. On February 21, 1947 in New York City, Land demonstrated his camera to a meeting of the Optical Society of America.
Large format Polaroid cameras carried the "Land Camera" name for a long time.
All packfilm land cameras used 100-660 type film.
