It comprises three peaks, very close to each other. The central peak is 3143 meters high, the western peak, or "Pic de Verdaguer", is 3131 meters high, and the eastern peak, or "Punta Gabarró", is 3115 meters high. This last peak is the geodesic vertex. The mountain range runs along the Catalan - French border. It goes from north-northwest to southeast.
