Phil Hall (1964–) is an American writer, publicist and actor. He is a contributing editor for the online magazine Film Threat and his film writing has appeared in numerous publications including the New York Times, Wired Magazine, the New York Daily News, American Movie Classics Magazine, Tower Records Pulse! Magazine and Video Librarian. He is the author of the books "The Encyclopedia of Underground Movies: Films from the Fringes of Cinema" (2004) and "Independent Film Distribution" (2006), both published by MWP Books. In addition to his film journalism, he is a contributing writer to such media outlets as the Hartford Courant, EDGE Boston and Delaware Today Magazine. His book review column for the New York Resident weekly newspaper was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. From 1994 through 2004, Hall ran Open City Communications, a public relations agency specializing in the promotion of small and mid-sized businesses. In November 2005, Hall became editor of PR News, a weekly trade journal for the public relations industry. Hall is also an actor who appeared on the VH-1 reality series "BSTV" and in the films "Land of College Prophets," "Matutitnal Reverie," "Bikini Blood Bath" and "Bikini Blood Bath 2."

Phil Hall (1962–) is the former News and Features editor of the British comics magazine Comics International, as well as the creator and editor of the PDF comics magazine Borderline, which won the Best Comicbook Magazine award at the 2002 British Comicbook Awards. In addition to this he has worked for DC Comics, Marvel Comics and a number of small independent publishers in the UK and USA. Hall created a number of popular comics magazine columns, such as Movers & Shakers and Networks, before leaving comics in 2003.
