A pentalogy is a series of five related works of art, a lesser-known relative of the words trilogy (three) and tetralogy (four). It is made up of the Greek words πεντε (pente: five) and λόγος (logos: word, story).
A pentalogy has also been called a "quintology", basing the prefix on Latin quinque- instead of Greek. Tetralogy has also been called, in the same manner, "quadrilogy."
