Paul W. Hodge (born unknown) is an American astronomer.
He was born in Washington. He earned an undergraduate degree in Physics from Yale and a doctorate in Astronomy from Harvard. Since then he has been a professor at the University of Washington. His recent research has focused on the star formation properties of nearby galaxies including the Andromeda Galaxy. His research into Barnard's Galaxy resulted in his 1977 paper wherein he identified 16 star forming H II regions, which have designations Hodge 1 to Hodge 16.
