Paul Stretford is a disgraced English football agent. His organisation Proactive Sports Management represent, amongst others, England footballer Wayne Rooney. During a failed legal action resulting from events surrounding Proactive's acquisition of Rooney as a client Stretford misled the court leading to the trial collapsing. Subsequently The Football Association charged him with misconduct over the acquisition of Rooney.
