The Parnitha Olympic Mountain Bike Venue was the site of the Mountain Biking events at the 2004 Summer Olympics at Athens, Greece. The venue is located at Parnitha, a mountain to the north of Athens in Acharnai. The venue has a capacity for 15,500 spectators, although a public capacity of only 14,700 for the Olympics. The venue was officially opened on August 23, 2004—after the Olympics had already begun—though a test event had been held at the site in May 2004.
