Pakistani Americans are Americans of Pakistani origin.

As per Census 2000 there were 204,309 people of Pakistani origin live in America. (see link ^* on page 9) Approximately 35,000 live in New York City, primarily in the boroughs of Queens and Brooklyn. Pakistani Americans in 2000 made up New York City's fifth largest Asian group.
