One-click hosting describes web services that allow any internet user to easily upload any type of file from his hard drive onto the one-click hoster's server free of charge to have it hosted.

Most such services simply return a short URL which can be given to other people, who can then fetch the file later on. As of 2005 there has been a big boom in providing such services, so a lot of providers start up and fail soon after again.
