Olivier J. Blanchard (born December 27, 1948, Amiens, France) ^* is the Class of 1941 Professor of Economics at MIT. He previously taught at Harvard University. He has written numerous books and articles as well as an extremely popular macroeconomics textbook, entitled simply, Macroeconomics.
